NUSSU Hotline Web - Cyber Peer Support

When we came across the NUSSU Hotline survey on IVLE in November, we understood that the student club which serves as a listening ear to all NUS students was toying with the idea of moving online.

Also, as anything connection to Computing and the web - even a remote one excites us, we offered to help them out. The project was also in alignment with our objective to promote the concept of technology for good.

A few of the developers from the chapter team worked on the project and the end product is the beta version of the NUSSU Hotline Web Chat.

Personally, I think it is a brilliant move taken by the current Hotline Executive Committee. It is a challenging project and a bold experiment but we are having a lot of fun building it. It is possible that this could potentially evolve to edge out the phone-based service Hotline offers as of now.
